Javea Building work

I haven't been to Javea for a few years now, but sayed in a lovely villa there. Absolutely fantastic. When I was there (I guess it was 4 or so years ago?) theer was a lot of building work going on down the bottom of town. Is that still all going on, or has Javea changed beyond recognition in those few years?
